10/16/2002: I installed the TrackBack system
One more proof that I can't resist techno-gadgets. After reading a recent post by Sarah T. that mentioned the advantages of TrackBack I decided to give it a try. Okay, it is not widespread yet, particularly not with fannish blogs, so I don't expect to use it much, but OTOH if something is going to have a chance to become widespread, someone has to start using it.
Besides, it was a lot less hassle to install than I thought, and it doesn't seem to have messed with my Greymatter setup in any way, because it is the standalone version. The downside of it being standalone is of course that it isn't comfortably integrated with the Greymatter interface, so for using it I have to use the separate TrackBack form. Anyway, I'm going to try whether it works now and ping Sarah T.'s entry.
