I watched the X-Men sequel last night, and had a lot of fun. I can't say how true it is to the comic characters, because I've never read any X-Men or Wolverine series, but I liked the characters and their interactions in the movie. I wouldn't have minded just a little more time spent on exploring some of the character stuff in a couple of places, but I guess that's hard to do with so many characters in just a bit over two hours. My favorite parts were those dealing with Wolverine and his past and Stryker's involvement in it. I also liked Nightcrawler, though I'm not entirely sure it was intentional that half the audience (myself included) broke into laughter each time he said something in German, because his German accent sounds quite funny. Then again, he had something of a "comic relief aspect" so it could be that the way he talks comes across as funny either way, even if you don't speak German.
