I've read most of the Batman titles of the Bruce Wayne Murderer? and Fugitive story, i. e. all the parts of the main crossover plot, not quite all of every series of that time, for example I haven't read the end of that Azrael sub-story, because I only got the issues labeled to be part of the crossover, (perhaps foolishly) assuming parts wouldn't leave the hero in the middle of a deadly explosion...
Anyway, after letting go these minor annoyances and the pedantic urge to make a flowchart to track the character movements chronologically through the Bruce Wayne Murderer? timeframe (see the previous entry), I was wondering about the vast potential for missing scenes this story offers. Especially Dick Grayson centric ones (no surprise here about my preferences *grin*). I mean, the comics don't show it, but surely the press must have been after Dick as well, I'd have loved to see that explored. And I think it's regrettable that there's nothing in the Nightwing series, that deals with his police colleagues reacting to some news report, where Dick is mentioned in all this mess. The comics deal at least a bit with Dick's emotional response to Batman abandoning the "Bruce" parts of his personality, but there's a lot more to explore there. Especially since at the same time Dick's relationship to Tim also becomes more strained, because of Tim's different take on the question of Bruce's guilt or innocence (and Bruce's mental health).
So if anyone has any fanfic recs for Dick Grayson centric missing scenes for that timeframe, I'd be happy to hear about them.
