The icon meme everybody is doing to generate more or less weird pairings that liviapenn started is a lot of fun, unfortunately it doesn't work with my icons, for obvious reasons. I'd only get a "RatCreature channels Multiple Man" story suggestion out of it, or something like that.
However, icons were also on my mind this evening, since I'm still diligently working to fill my icon slots. It's not quite actual content, but I do have four new icons. (Now 36 down, only 64 still to go! *grin*)
First there's Blathering!RatCreature:
and Thinking!RatCreature:
Both created in the hope that one day I may post actual content that's not a GIP again, but also useful for comments of all kind.
Then there's the icon for all those "Write/draw (more) of this, please?" situations, i.e. a shamelessly begging RatCreature:
and finally the depressed counterpart to my happy icon, the Dejected!RatCreature, though I hope I won't use that one too much:
I also did this "Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test", and it turns out that according to this I'm not much of a nerd compared to most of my f-list who did this quiz, but much dorkier... (Not really flattering. Heh.)
Computer Savant 43 % Nerd, 65% Geek, 52% Dork |
For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/beingsmart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in Geek and Dork, earning you the title of: Computer Savant. People confuse you with a Nerd all of the time. You aren't some genius, like some people have said, and didn't/don't really like school all that much (and you especially hated some of the social aspects, like getting mocked). It's just that you have some passions and interests that you're extremely into/good at, and this has placed you in circles with other social outcasts, some of whom are exceptionally bright (and brighter than you are, you know). The awesome thing about being where you are is that you get to hang out with an elite group (though you'd probably rather be alone, or with only the closest friends and family) and you can make quite a good career for yourself in your particular specialities. Common to this group are people who are highly into electronics/computers as that is where the money lies, today. Congratulations! |
