SGA thematic list: Wingfic

This is a thematic list (i.e. not recs) for stories in which an SGA character has or obtains wings, whether in AU scenarios, with explanations or as random crackfic scenario. Stories in which characters are transformed into flying creatures (normal or magical animals such as birds, bats, or dragons), don't count as wingfic for this list. In case of borderline scenarios, e.g. transformation into human-like but winged creatures such as fairies, demons or gargoyles, the list is inclusive rather than exclusive, but anything that would better fit on the various animal transformation lists is not listed here.

  1. More than one character with wings.
  2. John with wings.
  3. Rodney with wings.
  4. Ronon with wings.
  5. Elizabeth with wings.
  6. Others with wings.

These are not recs, but a thematic list. I'll link gen stories as well as all kinds of pairings, but at least initially it's biased towards pairings I read, e.g. I don't read John/Elizabeth so I'll need others to point out stories from those corners of fandom fitting the list criteria to me.

If you want a story added, your own or others, please send me the title, author, pairings (if any), summary, a public link (i.e. no f-locked or community member locked LJ entries and the like), whether it's a WIP, and under which topic it'll fit, so that I can list the story.

It was abundant and incredibly powerful and could be manipulated with the correct application of knowledge and will. But if you didn't use it properly, you'd be immolated or drowned. Or worse: other people would be, and you'd be forced to watch it happening. That was why it terrified him to see the casual, unthinking way Teyla and Carson used magic, because he knew that someday they'd be forced to pay for what they'd taken. Every wizard would, sooner or later. It was the first thing mages ever learned, and Rodney had lived it.
